Administer and report college interest survey
This survey consists of a number of questions compiled by Princeton Review to match college campuses to the preferences of the student. This survey takes into account the preferred location, size, environment, cost and level of academic achievement. The results are by no means written in stone, but give a very good list of school to consider when beginning the search for the best college for the individual student.
Many families are not familiar with a number of the schools that surface during this process. This is no surprise when one considers that there are more than two thousand institutions in the United States that offer four-year degrees. The colleges that most closely match the requirements of the student are evaluated to produce a list of school that will be seriously considered.
The schools under consideration will be scrutinized and the list narrowed to a reasonable number of campuses for the student to visit or evaluate closely using alternate avenues of contact.
